ok so ive been struck by the monk spell, i want to play the guy everyone wants in there party (the healer). blah blah...

but i also dont want to follow the crowd and be a W/M or a M/E, so what could i do that would be different. ive heard of M/W who use tactics are ok and that Mo/Me are cool also. i just want to play something that you dont see very often, but of course that will be hard to do with a monk.

just post what you would like to see and ill try and make it happen

Don't just post asking for a build. Create something of your own and then post it, and hopefully we can refine it into something better.

You should try out Mo/Me Pick up Healing, Divine Favor and Inspiration
For advanced play, tactics and headaches on yourself pick up Healing, Divine Favor, Smiting and Inspiration.

Mo/Me is good as i have one
a ins + healer
channeling + edrain should do energy management good for u

Channeling ftw in PvE... dunno how decent it is in PvP, probably not very. There's all kinds of ways to make a good healing monk, which is one of the nice things about the class, plus is synergizes very nicely with the Inspiration line from Mesmers, or with the Illusion line if you go smiting.
